SouthPeak has teamed with renown graphic novel artist Peter Chung for the 15-plus page graphic novel of Velvet Assassin. And while the novel may be an exclusive at GameStop (and in limited quantities) when gamers purchase Velvet Assassin, we have a few of those images right here for your viewing pleasure.
For those of you who don’t know, Pete Chung is the same hip cat that worked on animation projects that include The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury and The Animatrix. He also happens to be the legendary creator and director of Aeon Flux. Need I say more?
Well, this guy Mr. Chung, has collaborated with SouthSpeak Games and Replay Studios to bring gamers an extensive look at the early years of Velvet Assassin’s protagonist, Violette Summer. The graphic novel explains how she became a secret, undercover agent and sets up the story in which the game takes place.
